We do this by leading our market and listening when our customers offer ideas and make recommendations. Our response is focused through the rigor of product development and innovation. This philosophy has built a powerful two-way loyalty between Bradford White companies and our customers, and that partnership has inspired many of our advances.
Designing revolutionary products requires a constant reinvestment in Research and Development, manufacturing technology and processes, and personnel development. Bradford White meets today’s challenges with such investments, and has made substantial upgrades in its two state-of-the-art Research and Development laboratories.
Most importantly, Bradford White Corporation invests in the personnel of their Research and Development teams. These men and women bring a wealth of industry acumen, engineering expertise, and creative drive to generate new ideas and new product advances.
Concerns about energy costs and the desire to help the environment have made energy-efficient “green” products a major social movement and growth market opportunity. Bradford White is dedicated to providing innovative designs that meet and exceed the expectations of the green market.
With exciting new advances in energy-efficient products coming to market, our customers can be confident they are providing the highest quality green products to their residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Developing new products that give contractors a competitive edge also increases their need for new product training.
To meet this call, Bradford White has invested in two major training centers. These state-of-the-art training facilities host product and sales training events through the year for contractors, engineers, wholesale distributors, and sales reps from around the world.
Bradford White’s International Technical Excellence Center (iTEC) is a cutting-edge LEED Gold certified complex–a living demonstration of what Bradford White products can do for businesses, homes, and industries.
The 18,500 sq. ft. training center is adjacent to the company’s manufacturing and distribution facility in Middleville, Michigan. With high-tech audio-visual systems, a 5-million BTU capacity “live-fire” training lab, and a 4,000 sq. ft. mechanical room, Bradford White teaches the latest technology advances with hands-on precision.
Laars Customer Center is located in Rochester, New Hampshire at the Laars Heating Systems facility. The training center is designed to give HVAC professionals hands-on equipment training, as well as state-of-the-art audio/video systems for classroom and video live conferencing and delayed viewing options. The Laars Customer Center features a 70-seat, tiered classroom with several boilers, water heaters, and pool heaters arrayed for hands-on training. This equipment is powered by inputs as high as 2 million BTUs during live-fire training seminars.
In Halton Hills, Ontario, Bradford White Canada maintains a 1,000 sq. ft., modern training facility where contractors, engineers, distributors, and other industry partners learn about the products of all Bradford White Corporation subsidiaries. The high-tech Canadian facility offers training on gas and electric water heaters and gas boilers and features multiple live fire stations for a “hands on” learning experience.
